NRC Reviews We are Blind In its review of Seeing Without Seeing, NRC described Hawar Tawfiq's We are Blind as a "virtuosic" work that unfolds through a rich spectrum of instrumental colours. Inspired by the experiences of a visually impaired family member, the composition explores perception, imagination and the question of who is truly blind. NRC praised both the work's imaginative score and the New European Ensemble's performance. |
